Six flights forced to return to Russia due to Iran ban

Rosaviatsia explained how Israel's strikes on Iran affected flights from Russia.

When the Jewish state's military began shelling Iran, six planes from Russia were heading in its direction.

On the night of October 26, five Flydubai flights and one Air Arabia flight departed from Russia, RIA Novosti reports.

They had to return to their departure airports due to Iran's warning.

The country has imposed a ban on flights over its territory between 03:46 and 08:30 Moscow time.

It is emphasized that this was a forced measure designed to ensure flight safety.

Aircraft from UAE carriers turned around and arrived at the airports of Domodedovo, Vnukovo, Mineralnye Vody, Novosibirsk and Samara.

On the night of October 26, Israel launched a massive strike on Iranian territory. It is reported that more than 100 warplanes were used for this.

The targets of the attack were declared to be enterprises of the Iranian military-industrial complex and other military facilities.
