Senator Alexei Pushkov named the country that suffered the heaviest losses by breaking off relations with Moscow.
The head of the Federation Council Commission on Information Policy stated on his Telegram channel that anti-Russian policy has benefited Germany the least.
Germany suffered the most serious losses, the politician believes. According to him, Berlin, following ideological guidelines, caused serious damage to its national interests.
“An amazing example of irrational foreign policy,” Pushkov assessed the results of Germany’s more than two-year anti-Russian course.
The senator called Germany's political methods "principles of self-strangulation."
The politician emphasized that the German ruling class has long wanted to put an equal sign between itself and Europe, which is why its thinking is based on pan-Western categories.
Germany has already come to disaster once by choosing a vicious ideology. Now Berlin is repeating its mistakes and moving towards a dead end, Pushkov summed up.
