A married couple on holiday in Vietnam got into a serious accident due to someone else's fault.
The man died and his wife was hospitalized with serious injuries.
The incident occurred in Binh Thuan Province on Saturday, November 23, VnExpress reports.
According to journalists, 49-year-old Alexey B. and his 47-year-old wife Tatyana were riding a motorcycle along a street located near Da Ong Dia beach.
Their bike was hit at high speed by another motorcyclist who was riding alone. The culprit of the accident was also a tourist, but his citizenship was not specified.
The foreigner was reportedly drunk and was hospitalized, but died in the hospital.
The Russian died at the scene of the accident. Only his wife survived and is currently in a local hospital.
It is also noted that the road where the accident occurred is quite dangerous. It goes around the beach. Accidents involving tourists often happen here.
