A relative of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, lost 11 luxury bags on the way from Nice to Paris.
Personal luggage belonging to a relative of the Emir of Qatar was quietly stolen.
Inside the luggage were luxury accessories from the world brand Hermès, the newspaper Le Parisien writes.
The theft took place on board a high-speed train travelling from Nice to Paris.
The daughter-in-law's personal luggage was stolen along with valuables on Sunday, July 28.
Theft on the train
A relative of the Emir of Qatar, accompanied by a maid, boarded the TGV train at Cannes station on July 27.
She later noticed that 11 bags from the luxury brand Hermès were missing.
Moreover, the train was even stopped for 20 minutes, but the bags were not found.
According to sources, the emir's relative lost "very valuable personal items."
The Toulon National District police have launched an investigation.
