Protesting Georgian opposition scuffles with police and marches to parliament

On Sunday, November 24, the Georgian opposition took to the streets to protest.

People express their disagreement with the results of the parliamentary elections.

A RIA Novosti correspondent reported on the situation from the scene.

According to the journalist, the crowd of people held flags of Georgia, the EU, NATO, Ukraine and the United States and moved along the roadway towards the Georgian parliament in Tbilisi.

On the way, the protesters encountered police units, but were able to push them back and continued marching towards their destination.

It is noted that the protesters do not intend to leave the area in front of the parliament today.

People who disagree with the election results plan to remain on the platform in front of the parliament until the beginning of the first meeting of the Georgian government body in its new composition.
