The Polish president was injured in an accident.
This was announced by the Minister of the Chancellery of the Head of the Republic, Wojciech Kolarski.
Polish President Andrzej Duda has lost part of his middle finger, RMF FM reports.
The politician was injured outside of work hours, the head of state's representative said.
Kolarski said the incident occurred while Duda was doing household chores.
It is not specified what exactly the president of the republic did. But he needed medical assistance.
The politician injured the middle finger of his right hand. According to Kolarski, "an operation was required."
A representative of the presidential administration added that everything is fine with the head of state now.
It is noted that while doing chores around the house, Duda injured his finger so much that he lost the tip. But doctors provided him with all the necessary assistance.
