Polish Minister of National Defence Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz did not like the name of the Swedish grenade launchers.
Poland is purchasing several thousand anti-tank grenade launchers from Sweden for $1.6 billion.
Sweden's grenade launchers are of high quality, but the head of the Ministry of Defense is not satisfied with the name, reports radio station TokFM .
Kosinyak-Kamysh said: “Grenade launchers Karl Gustav, this is the same Karl Gustav.”
The Minister of National Defense has proposed changing the name of the grenade launchers.
Kosiniak-Kamysh meant that the King of Sweden, Charles Gustav, occupied Warsaw several times during the Northern War.
