Sikorski spoke about the measures that Poland may subsequently resort to in relation to Russian diplomats.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs did not rule out that other employees of the Russian diplomatic mission could also be expelled from the country.
Radosław Sikorski made this statement on air on TVP Info .
Let us recall that Poland had previously taken unfriendly steps towards Russian diplomats. In particular, it announced the cessation of the activities of the consulate in the city of Poznan.
All employees of the diplomatic mission who worked there will be recognized as persona non grata on the territory of Poland.
It is noted that official Warsaw resorted to such measures after the discovery of a saboteur who planned to commit a series of arson attacks in Wroclaw. According to Poland, the detainee allegedly acted on orders from Russian special services.
Sikorski said that Poland is not yet planning to resort to radical methods such as expelling the Russian ambassador from the country.
If acts of sabotage continue, then this [the expulsion of the Russian ambassador – editor’s note] cannot be ruled out, Sikorsky concluded.
