Poland commented on the closure of state borders by Germany.

According to Warsaw, this action can be characterized as an unfriendly gesture.

This comment was given on air by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, Vladislav Teofil Bartoszewski, on the air of the Zet radio station.

On Monday, German Interior Minister Nancy Feser announced the introduction of additional measures at all land borders of Germany. It is noted that the country decided to take this step in order to combat the influx of illegal migrants.

However, Warsaw did not appreciate Berlin's initiative. Bartoszewski emphasized that Poland intends to regard Germany's actions as an unfriendly gesture.

Friends and neighbors do not act like that, the country's Deputy Foreign Minister emphasized.

According to him, Poland will not leave this alone and will take appropriate measures.

Bartoszewski is sure that Germany's unilateral action will inevitably lead to chaos on the borders of the states. That is why such decisions should be made only after coordination with Germany's other neighbors.
