Germany and Poland are on the brink of political conflict over their position on Nord Stream.

This became known to American journalists who learned about Germany’s reaction to Warsaw’s call.

It all started when German investigators announced the involvement of the Polish side in the bombing of the Nord Stream pipeline.

This has caused outrage in Poland. The Wall Street Journal (WSJ) has learned what Prime Minister Donald Tusk's reaction was to this.

The politician was furious. He called on Berlin to apologize to Warsaw for such suspicions and reminded that Poland and Germany were in the same boat.

"[Vladimir] Putin is our common enemy, and we should all remember this," WSJ quotes Tusk as saying.

German politicians were stunned by the Polish president's response. The publication notes that Germany left the neighboring country's leader's statement unanswered.
