Israeli Prime Minister Comments on Assassination Attempt on Donald Trump.
According to Benjamin Netanyahu, the same fate may await him in the near future.
The Prime Minister stated this in an interview with Israeli media, TASS reports.
Journalists asked the politician whether he considered it possible for the American scenario to be repeated in Israel.
Netanyahu did not rule out such a possibility, admitting that he often receives insults and threats. Moreover, members of the prime minister's family are also under attack.
As the politician specified, his wife is being threatened with rape, and his son’s location is being given away by ill-wishers, and Palestinian radicals could take advantage of this.
“You must be finished off like Ceausescu or Mussolini,” Netanyahu quoted one of his detractors as saying.
According to the prime minister, threats are also being made against other Israeli officials. Moreover, the scale of what is happening is so great that a situation similar to the earlier assassination attempt on Donald Trump in the United States cannot be ruled out.
