Nazarbayev's nephew to have his real estate in Russia, Turkey, UAE and France confiscated

The confiscation of assets from Nazarbayev's nephew Kairat Satybaldy continues.

The Committee for the Return of Assets of the Prosecutor General's Office is working to return illegally acquired assets worth more than 50 billion tenge (10,427,140.56 dollars) to the country.

During the searches, jewelry, branded watches, valuables, collectible coins and luxury items worth hundreds of millions of tenge were returned.

The returned assets include two large business centers in Almaty, commercial real estate, and an elite house in one of the capital’s districts.

In addition, 95 thousand US dollars, found during the search, were transferred to the Special State Fund.

Moreover, luxury cars of the Rolls-Royce Cullinan and Aston Martin brands were returned from the UAE for a total of 192 million tenge (approximately 400,804.99 US dollars).

The Prosecutor General's Office of Kazakhstan reported on its Telegram channel that the return of two villas in Dubai worth 20 billion tenge (41,744,370.77 dollars) is next in line.

It is also planned to confiscate four luxury apartments on the French Riviera, 15 properties in Moscow, two luxury villas and apartments in the Turkish cities of Bodrum and Istanbul.

In recent years, Satybaldy has returned assets worth 783 billion tenge (more than $1.6 billion) to the state.
