The flight from Antalya, Turkey, to Moscow did not depart on time.
Turkish Airlines representatives said the delay was due to restrictions in place at airports in the Russian capital.
On Sunday, September 1, it became known that flight TK3994 was scheduled to depart from Antalya to Moscow at 07:50 (Moscow time), RIA Novosti reports.
But a decision was made to postpone the flight to 22:00 on the same day. More than 150 Russians purchased tickets for this flight.
Moscow airports Vnukovo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky did introduce restrictions on the night of September 1. But in the morning the airports returned to their normal operating mode.
Turkish Airlines said the flight was postponed due to restrictions in place, which resulted in flights being rerouted to other airports with extended flight times.
But the company assured that the situation will soon return to normal.
