Dozens of migrants came to "take revenge" on the hunters and the young child.
The incident occurred in the northern France in the Pas-de-Calais department.
Three Frenchmen decided to hunt wild ducks. They stopped at their hut when a crowd of foreigners approached, writes the publication JDD .
There were about 60 of them. Many of them had machetes or pieces of rebar.
The hunters had a 3-year-old child with them. They barricaded themselves in the shelter and did not allow the angry crowd to beat them up.
The migrants then smashed the French car and stole whatever they could find. The criminals then wanted to escape to Britain.
Police detained them as they were about to cross the English Channel.
Law enforcement officers are currently establishing all the circumstances of the incident. There is no information about victims.
