The daughter of actor Vladimir Mashkov encountered the activities of cybercriminals.
Maria Mashkova turned to FSB officers on social media asking for help.
The actress said that the attackers hacked her Telegram account and are now writing to all her contacts on her behalf, trying to extort money.
Mashkova asked the FSB officers to deal with the scammers. She even named the person behind it.
"I know that several FSB officers are following me from fake accounts. Please help me, keep an eye on my bad behavior for now," Maria said on a social network banned in Russia.
She did not specify whether the scammers tried to contact her father. In April, the actress admitted that her relationship with her parent was destroyed. The father and daughter have different views on politics.
Even before the special operation, Maria settled in the United States, where she lives with her husband and children. Until 2022, the actress periodically flew to Russia to participate in filming and meet with relatives.
In 2023, Mashkova received United States citizenship.
Earlier in the US, a man was shot in the head at his own wedding.
