A Kyrgyz native beaten and robbed in Los Angeles is found lying as a Russian citizen.
This was stated in a statement by the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry.
A native of Kyrgyzstan, Shailoobek Bazarbai uulu, was brutally beaten in the United States, RIA Novosti reports.
The incident occurred in early August, right in the middle of the day, on a street in Los Angeles.
Details of the beating
A bottle of water was thrown at the men's car while it was driving on the road.
Bazarbay stopped and at that moment a crowd of young people attacked him.
They smashed the car and took all the things, including the documents.
As a result of the beating, the man suffered a leg injury and other injuries.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic in Chicago clarified that the victim does not need any financial or other assistance.
The victim stated that during the fight he lost his Russian passport and military ID, as well as internal US documents.
