The foreign press reported that in Slovakia a leopard attacked and mauled the 63-year-old owner of a private zoo.
It is reported that the tragic incident was recorded in the Slovak town of Jaseni.
It is also indicated that law enforcement officers were called by the neighbors of the murdered man, as reported by TASS with reference to foreign media.
The corresponding publication states: "The police found the body of a man with no signs of life in the enclosure. The enclosure previously housed a leopard."
Tragic death
In addition, it is indicated that the private zoo housed monkeys, wild cats of various breeds, exotic birds and a puma.
Residents of nearby houses called the police when they noticed that the zoo owner had not been seen for a whole day.
It was previously reported that a similar case was recorded approximately a year ago at the Zilina Zoo.
As the media reported, the owner of the said institution, which was private, was killed by a lion.
