Parents of students at the Finnish-Russian School of Eastern Finland have contacted the police over a scandalous article.
They filed a complaint after a publication claimed the school was a threat to national security.
CEO Katri Anttila confirmed this information, writes Yle .
In September, the newspaper Iltalehti published a report that the school allegedly posed a threat and would be closed.
The Finnish Security Police denied these claims.
The parents' complaint was also sent to the journalism watchdog.
Katri Anttila stressed that the school's reputation has been damaged.
Every time this article appears in search engines, she explained.
The Russian Embassy in Helsinki described the publication about the school as an expression of Russophobia.
