IDF to launch rescue mission after attack on Israelis in Netherlands

The IDF will launch a rescue mission to protect Israeli citizens from attacks.

The army press service announced such measures on its Telegram channel.

It is noted that the rescue mission is intended to be launched under the coordination of the Dutch government. It is planned to send a cargo plane to the European state accompanied by rescue and medical teams.

Attacks on Israeli fans

The Israeli army's actions are aimed at rescuing Israeli citizens who arrived in the Netherlands as fans of the Maccabi football club.

Footage of masked men attempting to attack accommodations where Israelis are staying has circulated on local social media.

According to preliminary information, at least 10 Israeli citizens were injured.
