Milton is expected to hit Florida on Wednesday.
A state of emergency has already been declared in the region, and state authorities do not rule out that they will have to organize a mass evacuation of residents.
It is noted that the approaching hurricane may reach the same strength as Irma in 2017. Then the natural disaster, recognized as the longest in recorded history, took the lives of more than 130 people.
