Americans have been asked not to use laser pointers or weapons when confronted with various aircraft.
The bureau posted this appeal on its account on the social network X.
Let us recall that earlier there were reports that mysterious flying objects were observed in the northeastern United States.
The official view on the phenomenon is that they are a combination of UAVs, aircraft and reflected starlight.
In this regard, the agency called for not shining laser pointers, as well as not using firearms. This warning is related to cases when pilots were blinded by laser pointer beams.
According to the FBI, objects that people may mistake for drones may actually be manned aircraft. And to avoid a catastrophe, people should not interfere with pilots with their actions.
