A paraglider spotted a dog wandering around the top of the Great Pyramid of Giza.

The dog climbed to a height of 136.4 meters to bark at birds.

The man said he was hovering above the Great Pyramid when he noticed movement at its top, the Daily Mail reports.

He reported that the dog, sitting on the top, barked at the birds flying overhead.

Nothing is reported about the fate of the dog that climbed the highest pyramid. It is also unclear whether the small dog managed to get down from the giant pyramid and how long it was there.

The Great Pyramid of Giza is 136.4 metres high, so the animal had a long journey to the top.

Social media users speculated that the dog apparently managed to reach the summit without assistance.

It is also reported that climbing the Great Pyramid of Giza, like the other 118 Egyptian pyramids, is considered illegal.

It remains unknown what will happen to the dog after the paraglider's filming is over.
