A 40-year-old woman experienced clinical death seven times in one day.
The case occurred in the UK with a patient named Natalie Forrest.
Over the course of 28 hours, doctors brought the woman back from the brink of death seven times, the Manchester Evening Post reports.
The reason is said to be a course of chemotherapy. The patient's body reacted very badly to the administration of the drug, which led to such consequences.
Natalie said that one day she felt unwell. She decided that she had a urinary tract infection. She also had a fever and a sore throat.
The woman came to the pharmacy, described her symptoms and wanted to get medicine, but the pharmacist gave her advice that saved her.
The pharmacy worker had himself encountered blood cancer and the symptoms described alarmed him. He advised Forrest to see a doctor.
The examination revealed blood cancer. The oncologist prescribed chemotherapy for Natalie, but her body responded to the treatment by causing cardiac arrest.
Doctors had to resuscitate the patient seven times. In the end, they managed to stabilize her condition within 24 hours.
