When the Boeing 737 plane crashed, it broke into several pieces.

There were four people on board at the time. Three survived. Vilnius ambulance doctor Božena Erenkivič explained how they managed it.

In an interview with Lithuanian media, the doctor said that during the crash, the part of the plane where people were was torn away from the rest.

Thanks to this, the fire that started during the fall did not reach them. Erenkivich emphasized that this increased their chances of survival.

One crew member escaped with bruises. At the time of the fall, he was not in the cabin, but in the part that broke off.
