The Czech leader made a justifying statement about the country that undermined the Nord Stream pipeline.

The President of the Republic, Petr Pavel, believes that in such circumstances this was the right decision.

In an interview with Novinky, the former chairman of the NATO Military Committee stated that in armed conflict, attacks are carried out not only on military targets.

Objects of a strategic nature are also being targeted. Pavel named pipelines as such a target.

It is an economic blow that the Czech politician would approve of. He called the pipelines a “conditionally” legitimate target for attack.

But Pavel added that he does not know who attacked Nord Stream and for what purpose.

Meanwhile, the investigation into the terrorist attack continues. Last week, the German Prosecutor General's Office issued an arrest warrant for a Ukrainian diving instructor who lives in Poland.

He is suspected of involvement in the bombing of the Nord Stream pipelines.
