Representatives of the opposition Armenian party "For the Republic" threw eggs, tomatoes and potatoes at the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus.
The activists carried out these actions as part of a protest action.
It is explained that members of the “For the Republic” party are primarily known for their anti-Russian statements, as reported by RIA Novosti .
The above-mentioned faction is headed by Arman Babajanyan.
Major strike
As Babajanyan explained in a conversation with journalists, his party’s actions were a response to statements by Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko.
Earlier, Lukashenko stated that Armenia is not needed by Western states and their leaders.
In addition, the Belarusian leader noted that some countries in the post-Soviet space want to take something away from Russia, but give nothing in return.
Subsequently, members of the Armenian party "For the Republic" threw vegetables and eggs at the Belarusian consulate, chanting the slogan: "Get out of Armenia."
