Bali has toughened penalties for tourists who violate local traffic rules.

Now the authorities of the Indonesian resort will have the right to send offending foreign guests home before the end of their vacation.

A resort popular with Russians has announced “zero tolerance” for tourists who violate local laws, writes The Bali Sun.

Recently, the number of road accidents involving foreigners has increased sharply in Bali. The biggest problems are caused by vacationers who rent motorbikes and cars.

Therefore, the authorities warned that immigration proceedings would be initiated against foreigners who violate traffic rules.

In such a case, the offender may have his visa revoked and be deported to his home country.

But it is noted that they will not expel everyone. The competent authorities promise to consider each case individually.

For example, for the first violation, a tourist may receive a warning. But the severity of the offense, the scale of the incident and its consequences will be taken into account.

We previously talked about dangerous traps for tourists. There are 4 foreign laws that can result in a huge fine if violated.
