Two tourists from Russia who were caught in a rockfall in a canyon in Turkey were examined.
The Russian women were injured while hiking in the Saklikent Canyon, located on the Aegean coast.
On one of its sections, rocks fell, the Association of Tour Operators writes on its Telegram channel.
As a result of the incident, two tourists were injured.
Doctors from the local hospital arrived at the scene, examined and provided assistance to the Russian travelers.
The women, in particular, were diagnosed with a fracture of a part of the foot and were put in a plaster cast.
The tourists plan to return to Russia in the established order on August 11.
The gendarmerie has begun an investigation into the incident.
Tourists were evacuated from the dangerous area. Part of the canyon remains closed for excursions.
