An incident occurred at Warsaw Chopin Airport.
A passenger's suitcase suddenly exploded in the airport's baggage sorting area.
The incident was reported by the Polish television company TVN24 .
It turned out that the suitcase contained a container with biomaterials and dry ice.
During the flight, the container leaked, causing a sudden explosion.
No one was reportedly injured in the incident and the terminal did not require evacuation.
Biological samples being transported to Vienna for research remained unharmed.
The airport's press secretary, Anna Dermont-Szymaniak, reported that due to the explosion, passenger check-in had been temporarily suspended.
However, the situation returned to normal in less than an hour.
