The persecution of the Russian-speaking population continues in Latvia.

Fearing for the safety of their ten children, one family decided to leave Latvia and go to Belarus.

The Belarusian State Border Committee reported this on its Telegram channel.

Let us recall that Belarus has a visa-free regime, allowing citizens of Poland, Lithuania and Latvia to move freely through land checkpoints.

This right was used by a family from Latvia when they began to fear for the safety of their ten children.

First, a number of benefits were taken away from the large family. And then they began to threaten to deprive them of parental rights, the Belarusian department's publication specifies.

Such measures by the Latvian authorities primarily concern the Russian-speaking population of the country.

Therefore, a family of twelve people decided to leave Riga and go to Belarus in order to cross the border of the two countries without wasting time on paperwork.
