Inflammation of the intestines can lead to serious consequences.
In his Telegram channel, gastroenterologist and hepatologist Sergei Vyalov warned Russians what this leads to.
According to the doctor, eating fatty foods, such as red meat, causes inflammation of the intestines. This in turn leads to the destruction of the mucous membrane, which is accompanied by bloating and other unpleasant symptoms.
Blood from the intestines is directed into the portal vein, which leads to the liver. Consequently, this organ also suffers and does not cope with its duties properly.
Some of the toxins get back into the blood, which leads to the formation of atherosclerotic plaques. When they become inflamed, a heart attack occurs as a result.
To avoid the most dangerous problems, the doctor gave two pieces of advice:
- understand nutrition and ensure that the diet is balanced;
- Treat your liver and intestines in a timely manner, especially if you often suffer from bloating.
