Medical specialists helped a pregnant woman with acute appendicitis. The details are reported by the Moscow Agency with reference to the press service of the Moscow Region Ministry of Health.
It is noted that a patient who was nine months pregnant was admitted to the Lyubertsy Regional Hospital.
It is also known that the woman complained of high temperature and abdominal pain.
According to the press service, doctors examined the patient and performed an ultrasound scan, which revealed the diagnosis: acute appendicitis.
They also noted that the woman had undergone a successful operation. The patient was soon discharged from the hospital.
It is added that the expectant mother will have to be monitored at the antenatal clinic.
