Doctors at the Royal Hospital helped a 67-year-old man with an atherosclerotic plaque. The details are reported by the Moscow Agency, citing the press service of the Moscow Region Ministry of Health and the head of the vascular center, Ruslan Gaifulin.

It is noted that an elderly man was admitted to a medical facility with pain and numbness in his leg.

It is also known that medical specialists examined the patient. It turned out that the artery was blocked by an atherosclerotic plaque.

According to the press service, the absence of the operation could have resulted in the amputation of the leg.

They also noted that the operation was successful. Thanks to it, the danger was averted.

Gaifulin added that after some time after the doctors' intervention, the patient's leg began to warm up. In addition, the man noted an improvement in his condition.
