The claim that a glass of wine a day is good for your health has been questioned.

Many studies show that moderate amounts of alcohol prolong life and are good for the heart.

However, new data published in the Journal of Studies on Alcohol and Drugs challenges this view.

Alcohol in small quantities is not good for your health.

New research explains likely reasons.

Research on the benefits of drinking alcohol in moderation has serious flaws, according to researcher Tim Stockwell.

He explained that people who continue to drink in moderation appear healthier. However, appearances can be deceiving.

During the study, scientists analyzed 107 observations of the connection between drinking habits and life expectancy.

They found that moderate alcohol consumption was not associated with increased life expectancy.

Scientists have concluded that there is no safe level of alcohol consumption.
