How to Shave Without Irritation: Tips That Work

Currently, there are many ways to remove unwanted hair on the body: various waxing methods, photoepilation, elos epilation, etc.

But most women will still prefer a regular razor to all these fancy methods. And there is nothing surprising about this.

This method takes a minimum of time, effort and is absolutely painless: apply a special foam, a couple of movements against the hairline, a stream of water - and that's it!

But even such a simple method has its drawbacks. And it's not even about the fact that in 1-2 days the vegetation will grow back.

After such a procedure, skin irritation often occurs. When shaving, we remove the top layer of skin, and it, in turn, to protect itself and heal, dilates the blood vessels. This is what causes redness.

To get rid of irritation after shaving, follow these tips.

1. Do this procedure not during a bath, but afterward, when the skin is well steamed. Then the skin will be moisturized, and the hairs will be slightly raised, which will make their removal easier.

2. To avoid irritation after shaving, use special cosmetics that are designed for this purpose. They contain special additives that reduce the risk of irritation. After shaving, also lubricate the skin with special creams and lotions.

3. Try shaving the hair in the direction of its growth. This method, of course, will take more time, but you will definitely get rid of the irritation after shaving on your legs. But with the bikini area, this will be problematic: here it is better to move the razor horizontally.

4. Do not put on any clothes immediately after shaving. Friction will cause the skin to become red, so all efforts will be in vain.
