No matter how hard scientists try to create artificial blood and plasma, they are expensive and inferior to natural blood in all respects.
And humanity has not yet come up with anything better than donation. And the state, whenever possible, supports such initiatives of citizens, providing them with certain preferences.
As reported by the Moscow Agency, more than 28 thousand residents of the Moscow region will receive payments under the status of “honorary donor”.
It is noted that previous merits are not being cancelled; payments will be made not only to “Honorary Donors of Russia”, but also to “Honorary Donors of the USSR”.
It is assumed that this will be a one-time annual payment exceeding 17 thousand rubles.
In addition, free public transport will be provided. And pensioners will receive a discount on utility bills of around 50%.
To obtain the status of honorary donor, you must donate forty blood or sixty plasma donations: half of either is acceptable.
