Doctors provided assistance to an 8-year-old child who swallowed a metal ball. The details are reported by the Moscow Agency, citing the press service of the Moscow Region Health Ministry.
It is noted that a boy was admitted to the Dubna hospital who, according to his parents, accidentally swallowed a ball.
It is also known that specialists conducted a study that revealed the presence of a foreign object in the child’s body.
According to the press service, doctors began the operation, which was successful – the ball was removed from the stomach.
They also added that soon after the operation the patient was discharged home in good health. The danger had passed.
