Surgeon and oncologist Mark Gadziyan told Russians in his Telegram channel what helps speed up metabolism without harming the body.
Firstly, the ideal breakfast foods are eggs, oatmeal or yogurt. All three of the above products contain protein, which speeds up metabolism and keeps you feeling full longer.
Secondly, along with protein, you should eat fiber, vitamins and minerals. Vegetables and greens are rich in them, but they do not add extra calories to the body.
But the doctor recommended giving up sweets and baked goods, since added sugar contains extra calories and too few nutrients.
Instead of sugar, it is recommended to eat berries and fruits.
