The expert drew attention to the fact that eggs from the refrigerator should be placed in cold water and then boiled.

It is also important to remember that sudden changes in temperature may cause the shell to crack.

Grey yolk

Sometimes you may notice that the yolk has turned grey after cooking.

But, as the specialist explained, this does not mean that the egg is spoiled.

She noted that this was simply the result of certain chemical reactions.

However, if you cook eggs for too long, they may develop blue-green hues. This may be due to the release of hydrogen sulfide.

Mistakes in cooking

It is also important to take into account that due to some mistakes in cooking, eggs can cause harm instead of benefit.

So, you shouldn't bring them to an active boil. Otherwise, the amount of useful substances in the egg may decrease.

The expert does not recommend boiling eggs for longer than 20 minutes. It is noted that otherwise you can get a dose of hydrogen sulfide.
