According to Bereznikov, a cold shower can improve the condition of the body, provided that this practice is introduced gradually rather than immediately.
He noted that taking a cold shower without preparation can worsen immunity, lead to infectious diseases or inflammation in the body. Cold water can also lead to increased pressure due to spasms of the capillaries.
The doctor specified that a cold shower should be used 30 minutes after waking up or 30 minutes before bed. The temperature should be reduced gradually.
It is added that if any unpleasant sensations occur, it is better to refuse these procedures.
