Pharmacists have told the Daily Mail about known drugs that can interact with coffee and other caffeinated drinks.
Taking medications with a cup of coffee can lead to serious complications, says Heavi Ngo-Hamilton, a pharmacist at the University of Minnesota Medical Center.
Among such drugs, pharmacists name antidepressants, over-the-counter cold and allergy medications.
This list also includes:
- medications for osteoporosis, asthma, ADHD, diabetes, blood pressure and Alzheimer's disease, antibiotics, blood thinners and thyroid medications, antipsychotics.
