Tea with milk has a positive effect on the cardiovascular and nervous systems.

Can I drink tea with milk in the evening?

It is believed that milk softens the effects of caffeine contained in tea, so this drink can be consumed at any time without fear of insomnia.

Tea with milk is easily digestible, has nutritional properties, and accelerates metabolic processes. Therefore, this drink is often used as a fasting day. It contains proteins and fats, and often replaces a snack in some diets.

Harm of tea with milk

English tea with milk

  • black tea - 1 teaspoon for each cup + 1 teaspoon for the teapot
  • milk and sugar - to taste

Cooking process:

  • Warm the kettle with boiling water, then drain the water.
  • Add the tea, pour boiling water over it and quickly pour out the tea leaves. This will help rinse the tea and prepare it for brewing.
  • Brew the tea with boiling water a second time and let it steep for about 5 minutes.
  • Pour warm milk into the warmed cups, one third or one quarter full – to taste.
  • Add tea. Enjoy your tea party!

Green tea with milk

Method 1: Ingredients required:

  • 1 liter of milk, 1.5-2.5% fat
  • 1 tablespoon green tea

Cooking process:

  • Pour 1 liter of milk (ideally 2.5% fat) into a saucepan. If you use this drink on fasting days, take milk with 1.5% fat.
  • Bring the milk to a boil and turn off the heat.
  • Add a tablespoon of green tea and stir.
  • Remove the pan from the stove and leave it covered for 20 minutes.
  • When the drink is infused, the milk will acquire the color of baked milk.
  • Carefully strain the liquid through cheesecloth.

Method 2: Ingredients required:

  • 1 teaspoon green tea
  • 150 ml hot water
  • 150 ml hot milk

Cooking process:

  • Brew the tea in a teapot or thick-walled mug. Use about 1 teaspoon of tea per half a mug of water. The water temperature should be below boiling, about 90°.
  • Let the tea brew for 3-5 minutes, then pour the same amount of hot milk into the mug and stir.
  • Enjoy your tea party!

Masala tea

This recipe is designed for two mugs. It is better to use whole spices and grind them yourself in a mortar or coffee grinder.

Ingredients required:

  • Ginger - root about 2 cm.
  • Cinnamon sticks – 2 pcs.
  • Cardamom in boxes – 4 pcs.
  • Black peppercorns – 6 grains.
  • Nutmeg - 0.5 teaspoon
  • Carnations – 3 pieces
  • Anise - 1 star
  • A glass of water
  • Sugar – 4 tablespoons
  • Tea (red Chinese) – 2-3 teaspoons (in the vegan version rooibos – 3-4 teaspoons)
  • Sugar – 4 tablespoons

Cooking process:

  • Heat the spices over a flame in a saucepan for 15-20 seconds until they begin to smell.
  • Pour hot water over and bring to a boil.
  • Boil the spices for 30 seconds.
  • Add tea and simmer the tea and spice mixture for another 20-30 seconds.
  • Pour in milk and bring to a boil.
  • Add sugar 10 seconds before boiling.
  • When the milk boils, cook the whole mixture for another 30 seconds, then stir well, turn off the heat, cover with a lid.
