Research in the United States has shown that aging does not occur gradually, but in two sharp leaps.
Scientists believe this may explain why health problems appear at certain points in life.
Researchers studied changes in the bodies of people aged 25 to 75, according to an article in Nature Aging . It turned out that noticeable changes occur at about age 44 and again at age 60.
During these periods of life, problems with joints or heart may appear.
It was previously believed that aging occurs evenly and slowly. However, as new studies have shown, important changes in the body occur precisely after 40 years and around 60 years.
The next aging leap is possible in some cases at 78 years.
Scientists, having studied all age groups, came to the conclusion that people begin to age noticeably at about 45 and 60 years old.
Knowing the age stages of aging will make it easier for a person to understand the changes in the body and prepare for them.
