Dermatologist Anna Karpova noted that washing your hair at night in healthy people sometimes does not entail any serious consequences.

In addition, if the room is cool, then in this case, as the specialist pointed out, there may be a risk of hypothermia of the head.
Dermatologist Elena Agafonova also does not recommend washing your hair at night.
She explained that in such a situation, hair can lose volume, become tangled and damaged. And this will ultimately affect its quality, worsening it.
Therefore, the doctor recommends drying your hair at least half an hour before going to bed.
Also, according to her, it would not be a bad idea to use pillowcases made of some not too rough materials.
