Acne on the back: where it comes from and what to do about it

If pimples appear on your back, this may indicate that something is wrong with your body.

What are the reasons for their appearance and how to deal with them?

Causes of acne:

• Poor hygiene. Many sebaceous glands are located in the shoulder blade area, and it is in this area of the back that bacteria actively multiply, which provokes the appearance of acne. Insufficient care of this area leads to active reproduction of bacteria and, as a result, the appearance of acne;
• Synthetics. Wearing tight-fitting clothing made of synthetics increases sweat secretion, which leads to skin problems;
• Long hair: When dirty hair comes into contact with the skin on your back, it leads to clogged pores and acne.

Internal reasons:
• Genetic predisposition. If your parents suffered from this problem, then there is a high probability that you will have to face it too:
• Nutrition. An abundance of fatty foods, sweets and simple carbohydrates in the diet provokes acne;
• Stressful situations. Stress negatively affects the functioning of the endocrine system;
• Diseases of internal organs. If acne on the back does not go away for a long time, it is recommended to seek help from a doctor;
• Hormonal imbalances. During puberty, many teenagers experience acne, as do women during their periods.

How to deal with the problem yourself

1. Maintain hygiene. Before going to bed, as well as after physical activity, be sure to take a shower. You can use wipes that have an antibacterial effect.
2. Antibacterial soap. It is not recommended to use this product on a permanent basis, but you can use it temporarily to get rid of acne.
3. Hair. Minimize contact of the skin of the back with hair.
4. Clothing. Avoid tight-fitting and synthetic items.
5. Diet. To combat acne, it is necessary to minimize the consumption of fatty and fried foods, sweets, and light carbohydrates. Eat more fiber, vegetables, and fruits.
