You will lose your harvest: don't do this, otherwise the peppers won't sprout - mistakes when planting seedlings that every second person makes

Pepper is rightfully considered one of the most capricious vegetables when sprouting.

That's why many gardeners experience difficulties when trying to grow seedlings on their own.

Expert of the online publication TUT NOVOSTI, scientist agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh will tell you how to avoid mistakes in this difficult matter.

Common mistakes

Russians begin sowing seeds for seedlings as early as the end of February, and this is the right decision, since summer often ends too quickly.

However, please note: it will take at least 3-4 weeks before the first shoots appear.

Often, mistakes are made already at the stage of seed preparation. They should not be soaked in a too strong solution of manganese, kept in water (a gauze soaked in water is best) and overdried.

Failure to observe the temperature regime also destroys the seeds. Pepper needs a temperature strictly within the range of +25-28°C.

Your peppers will also not sprout if you do not water them enough. This does not mean that the future vegetable is flooded with water, but the soil needs to be moistened daily.

If you do not follow the planting technology, you will not wait for seedlings either. Remember that the ideal depth for planting is 1-1.5 cm, otherwise the seeds simply will not hatch.
