With the end of summer, you don’t have to say goodbye to fresh tomatoes.
The fruits can be grown on a windowsill or on a balcony, if space allows.
Let's figure out how to do this so you can enjoy juicy fruits all year round.
The first way
Firstly, keep in mind that only dwarf varieties are suitable for growing in an apartment.
They should be planted in late March - early April in transparent cups to control watering. Fill the containers with soil, pour boiling water over them and plant the seeds.
After this, the cups are covered and not watered until the first sprouts appear, after which they need to be placed on a windowsill with artificial lighting.
The second way
Treat the seeds with a weak solution of potassium permanganate, wrap them in a damp cloth and put them in a warm place. In a few days they will take root.
After this, transplant the seeds into separate containers and water without over-watering.
At the end of April - beginning of May, transplant the plants into buckets together with the soil lump. Don't forget to make holes in the bottom to drain excess moisture.
