October is the middle of autumn, when it is time to take care of all the plants so that they survive the winter without problems.
The same applies to flowers, which are a real decoration of any area.
By giving them some time before the winter cold sets in, you can be sure that next year you will enjoy the bright blooms again.
How to prepare plants for winter
Like any other agricultural crop, flowers need nutrients.
Before the onset of winter cold, it is important to apply mineral or organic fertilizers.
Humus and compost are suitable for feeding flowers at a rate of 2-3 kilograms of substance per plant.
Of the mineral fertilizers for flowers, Narva recommends double phosphate or superphosphate. It is best to apply the fertilizer in the form of a solution.
The mixture is prepared as follows: dilute 40-50 grams of fertilizer in five liters of water, mix thoroughly, and then water the bush.
Please note! Fertilizing is done at the root.
