What can be planted?

After onions, various root crops will grow well. Therefore, you can plant carrots, radishes or beets in this place.

This place is suitable for planting zucchini, cucumbers, squash and eggplants.

A good harvest in the bed where onions were planted will be strawberries and potatoes. Peas and beans can also be planted.

Just before planting some plants, including cucumbers and tomatoes, it is better to add fertilizer to the soil.

What is better not to plant

The list of plants that should not be planted after onions is much shorter.

Firstly, you shouldn't replant onions here. And this applies to all its possible varieties.

It will be possible to plant onions in this bed only after three years have passed.

This place is not suitable for planting flowers: daffodils, lilies or tulips.

Garlic, spinach and some herbs will not grow well in the garden after onions.
