A rose cannot delight you with lush flowering all season long without receiving any additional feeding during this time.
Only those with extremely fertile soil may not feed their plantings. The rest must fertilize their roses in August.
At the end of summer, plants need potassium and phosphorus. These elements will not only stimulate flowering in the coming weeks, but also help flowers survive the winter.
Therefore, closer to autumn, add 16 g of potassium monophosphate and 15 g of superphosphate, dissolved in a bucket of water.
Another option is 1 tbsp. superphosphate and 1 tbsp. potassium sulfate per 10 liters of water. No more than four liters of fertilizer are allocated for one adult rose.
From ready-made products, you can use the universal fertilizer “Fertile” (100 ml per 10 l of water).
Note
In autumn, it is recommended to mulch roses. If you spread peat or compost around the bushes, the root system will develop faster by spring.
